TGWF- Thank god it WAS friday.

Had a good sleep and feeling awesome today as the worst (CRM ICA-30% weightage) is over!

Finally I can concentrate on other projects. Apparently, I've spent too much time on this ica, so much so that MCE ica was neglected. Felt bad towards my group members nontheless my portion of work was sent to the god this morning.

Never been feeling so relexed since months. Selfishly, I love the fact that I'm not the facilitator of this project because it's quite a stressful job. Now I know how irritating was I (being a facilitator) whenever I called my group members in other projects for meeting, because I felt the same sometimes when god called me for meeting. Hey, I'm a human too =X

Another happy issue is that my special events project on NDP is going well as my group's daring ideas received positive response, as our survey result reflects. It was way better than what I've expected as I thought that people might not like the change. Even Mr Wee, being our surveyee, said it was an awesome idea. So YAYS for that =D

Seriously, I deem myself unlucky when I realised that I've just bought a pair of circle R tag Levi's jeans. And I can't exchange it for the one with Levi's word instead as I've altered it due to my short pair of legs, apparently.

I'm still feeling VERY frustrated even though the staff at Levi's boutique explained that in order to legally protect Levi's exclusive right to market clothes with the tab, they must make a certain percentage of the brand's products with a cloth tab that has only the ® symbol. So only 1 outta every 100 pairs they produced has this circle R tag, as you can see from the picture above.

And when she went on saying that this type of jeans are rare that even their own staff might not even get the chance to buy it. WHATEVER. SCREW THE TRADEMARK SHIT. I'm going to Levi's boutique tomorrow to buy another new pair. Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk.

That's my DIY gift to my boyfriend. I start to believe that I actually have a way to art. Because when I brought this almost-done book along to a scrapbook-specialized store to shop for its decorations, people were looking at it and a lady even ask where did I buy it from XD

The contents are roughly:

My boyfriend came over to my house in the afternoon to cook my favourite salmon for lunch and followed by a watching a movie named "unknown". It's a must-watch. Had a buffet dinner at the Carousel in royal plaza on scotts and I've eaten lots of cheese and drank a glass of lychee mojito, which makes my whole dining experience perfect =)

That was most likely the first time I'm in contact with alcohol again since my 18th birthday. Apparently I was sick of alcohol after drinking so much of Chivas that night.

To be exact, it has slightly been more than a year since we are together and we just made it official on 1st March. My boyfriend decided on the day because he clearly understood the fact that it will be easier for forgetful people like me to remember dates =)

I had a nightmare. I dreamt that a part of my wardrobe turned into a tank of water with turtle/tortoise inside. It kept eating and eating till there's another pair of eyes growing at the top of its head, looking totally aggresive. The next thing i saw when it continue eating was that its "new" eyes exploded, shooting out all the food it ate like a horizontal volcano. The food it shot out was ginger slices, those which you can find in japanese cuisine.

I was still shivering when i woke up and decided to call my boyfriend. Was rather surprised that he picked up my call as it was only 6am. He said that he was having a dream too when someone told him to answer his ringing phone and it was indeed me who was calling when he looked at his phone.

Went to google about my dream just now and here's the interpretation:

Tortoises in your dream stand for slow progression and fear of getting involved in risky business. I went to Wendy's with my boyfriend on friday. There wasn't really a crowd given their opening day. The burger packaging is kinda cute- silver, aluminium foil alike wrapper. However, i couldn't really tell if their food was exactly nice as i've a blocked nose on that day and food just tasted salty to me. I can't really taste potatoes from fries, lemon from ice lemon tea and chicken from chicken burger. Overall it was quite a wasted trip. I'm leading an awesome life and i am grateful for what i have now.

See, firstly im born in a problem-free + happy family, whereby i don't need to worry about my financial resource, my food resource and most importantly, my family does not have conflicts that other families might seem to be facing now. I think at most is having some harmless squabbling with my brother about the little-est matters in life. For example, tv channels. I can't understand why he insisted on watching cartoons or some lame movies like iron man, spiderman or whatever man you can think of now. SUCKER.

Secondly, i have a boyfriend who really loves me lots and trying his best to make his demanding girlfriend happy everyday=) I'm sorry that the wall made you have a huge bruise on your arm =(

Thirdly, i never have any conflicts with any of my cliques before, since my primary school days. Honest. Take my current poly clique for example. We are nice people =) Unlike those girls (commonly known as bitches) who badmouth and backstab others so vividly that they can't seem to stop, we are a group of civilised people. It's horrifying to have these kind of people as friends. You won't know when they might act nice in front of you but backstab badly behind you. Geez, no wonder cliques with this sort of people break up easily because they always sow discord.

Also, my clique and i do not get overly sensitive or upset over trival matters. Even we do, it's only a day or two issue, when we will laugh and get over it. There was once when i was pretty upset over some personal issues, they came over to show concern. I can tell that they are really concerning about me, but not like some people who ask because they are just being nosy about the matter. Also, they will treat me to my favourite lok lok dip! Thanks cheryl for the lok lok the other day =)

I think that's why are are still intact till today. Oh well, i think that i will never understand how does an internal conflict comes about. Afterall i've never experience this before.

Thanks for the little birthday notes and wishes which each and everyone in class gave me. Thanks to everyone for loving me, especially my dearest boyfriend for the cake and ipod nano, mefline for the contact lens and the little note, my wonderful clique: shanice's mini "ai xin" breakfast, chocolate cake and a long essay, valerie's diy cube with photos, jasmine's beautiful birthday card, the huge card and those touching messages which clare and cheryl wrote to me and last but not least, the sms from joanne and hwee theng! I was elated when i saw their sms as i thought that they might have forgotten about my birthday as we didn't really contact each other recently as we are busy with our studies.

It's amazing, the joy lasted for the last for the whole 24 hours, from the 1st second of 30th April when my boyfriend came to celebrate with me, to drinking till the next day. Then again, i would like to convey my sincere appreciation to everyone for the presents and notes =)

And i have a good news to share! My manager called me a few days back, asking me to go back to Shangri-La on this wednesday for some Silver awards presentation, whereby i will be entitled to a complimentary dinner at The Line for 2. Yays!

Surprised! I was surprised to see my boyfriend outside of my house at the 1st second of my birthday!

He was still online a couple of minutes before the clock struck 12, while i was clearing some doubts regarding my tutorial excercise related to my Accounting module. As an excuse, he told me to give him 5 minutes as he wanted to bathe and i even asked if 5 minutes were enough for him as he's always long in the toilet -.-

The next thing was that i received a call from him, asking me to come out of my house. There he was, with that little cute tiramisu with a pink candle on it =) Super sweet!

And, i received a red ipod nano as my present =) I was shocked to see that as i only passing a casual remark that i love the latest nano, especially the one in red but they can only be bought online so i didn't get it as it's too troublesome, when we passed by one of the Apple stores a month back, and he remembered it like since forever=) Yea, like he said, i would be surprised to see my present. And he succeeded. Haha

I'm sure that i have a super caring, sweet, detail-oriented boyfriend =)

I've found myself a job at the Shangri-La Hotel 0.0

Went for job hunting yesterday and the 1st hotel i went to try my luck at was Shangri-La. And i'm employed as soon as the interview ended! No going home to wait for call no nothing=)

Man, initially i thought things wouldn't be as smooth as it seems to be since it's a 5 star hotel and they might not want to employ me as i have no relative experience in hospitality. Hence, i spent a freaking amount of $2.50 to print 5 resumes as i thought that i would need to try my luck at some other hotels too before being employed. Tsk tsk, i can buy a bowl of fishball noodles with that $2.50 zzZ

Yea, and during the interview i was told to put thicker makeup and red lipstick. As in, RED. Geez, that's going to be so wayang. And the thing i love about working there is their vavavoom uniform 0.0

Started working today. My various managers and colleagues are nice to me=) The most busy period was the cocktail hour, wereby a lot of guests, but not a lot exactly too, will flock in. Job was easy but tired for me especially when i'm wearing new shoes as they bite. So much so that i took them off my feet and walked bare footed to bus stop after i've knocked off for the day.

Wine is served during the cocktail hour for everyday if i'm not wrong. Omg, wine. I could smell its aroma from far. Super tempted. But hard liquor would be even better in my opinion=)

Wasteful. All leftover food will go straight to the dustbin. And i felt so sinful when i was pouring the whole bowl of salad into the dustbin. Food served in the canteen was great! It's totally like a buffet. Rice, meat, vegetables, french fries, soup, a wide variety of fruits, free flow of the various soft drinks, ice cream and more. If only alcoholic drinks are being served too.. Haha, kidding. Woah, good life there indeed.

And the most rewarding thing of the day was meeting up with my boyfriend after work=)
